Rent Beautiful Accommodation in Bordeaux

Apartments in Bordeaux

Built on the banks of the Garonne River, Bordeaux has been honoured as a UNESCO World Heritage city for its Port de la Lune area, the historic part of the city which runs from the Quai de Bacalan to the Quai de Paludate, beside the Garonne, and one of Europe's biggest 18th century architectural urban areas. Visitors are enchanted by the quaint, narrow streets and unique architecture that the old quarter has to offer. Must-see attractions include the Grand Theatre, the Place de la Bourse and the stunning Eglise Notre Dame. Apartments to rent in Bordeaux France are luxurious, and the locations are excellent, so you can simply relax and enjoy your stay. Bordeaux also boasts nine public museums, notably the Museum of Fine Art, the Natural History Museum, the Museum of Decorative Arts, the Museum of Modern Art and the Aquataine Museum.

As well as its rich history, architecture and river, Bordeaux is of course renowned for its famous vineyards, and is the world's major wine industry capital. Bordeaux wine has been produced in the region since the 8th century, and it is also home to the world's main wine fair, Vinexpo. To accompany the celebrated wines, there is no shortage of excellent restaurants offering gastronomic delights. With its Atlantic ocean coastline, fish and shellfish abound, as do meat dishes, including the famous Entrecȯte à la Bordelaise, a great match with a full-bodied Bordeaux red!

Our luxury holiday apartments to rent in Bordeaux, France, are right in the historic centre of the town, in "Le Triangle d'Or", at the heart of Bordeaux fashion, galleries, antique shops, traditional market streets and fabulous restaurants. The beautiful, traditional 19th century ‘hotel particulier’ we have for rent is in the historic Saint Seurin area in the heart of Bordeaux, a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from the city centre.  Less than 100 metres from your door you will find bakeries, grocery stores, pharmacies, banks and more, and another 200 metres will bring you to the Place des Martyrs de la Resistance, lined with gourmet fine food stores, restaurants, cafés and antique dealers. One of the oldest cultural buildings in Bordeaux is also located here; the 6th century "Basilique Saint Seurin" houses a palaeochristian necropolis which is now a fascinating underground museum. The "Basilique" is surrounded by a leafy park perfect for walks in the shade, and also with children’s playground.
