Luxury Villas to rent on Vis

Apartments in Vis

The beautiful island of Vis, has been designated as one of the ten most environmentally preserved islands on the Mediterranean by the World Organisation for the Environment Protection. With its olive groves and vines, traditional villages and deserted beaches, it is renowned for its natural beauty as well as for its long and fascinating history, which makes it a perfect family holidays destination in Croatia. Less than 2 hours from Split, it feels like another world away. The villa we have for rent here is situated right on the edge of the sea, a short walk from Milna and Zaglav Bays, each with beaches and local ‘konobas’ (traditional restaurants). The Summer Festival which takes place from July to the first weeks of September is a very special event, offering jazz, classical music, local theatre and traditional culture. There is also an annual Vis regatta in October which attracts hundreds of yachts and visitors from around the world.

The luxury accommodation we have to rent in Vis, Croatia, is perched over the Adriatic Sea, with wonderful sea views from every room, terraces and gardens. There are several villages close to the villa, with local ‘konobas’ (traditional restaurants), and both sandy and pebble beaches - Milna Bay and Zaglav Bay are both just a short walk. Stoncica Bay with a sandy beach and restaurant, Rukavac, a fishing village with a beachside fish restaurant and Srebrna Bay, a white pebble beach are all within a few minutes' drive. You can browse the daily fruit, vegetable and fish markets in the port of Vis, 9km away, and in Komiza, 18km. A local baker delivers fresh bread daily to Milna-Zenka Bay homes, as well as fresh fruit and vegetables twice a week - or buy fresh fish directly from the fishing boats in nearby Rukavac village.
