The Luxury Travel Book - Luxury apartment & villa accommodation to rent in beautiful destinations
Rome, Italy · Apartment · 2 - 3 Bedrooms · 4 - 6 people
This luxury apartment rental in central Rome is one of two vacation apartments we have for rent in the same building in Via Palermo., in the trendy, character-filled area of Monti. Originally a working class neighbourhood, Monti is east of the Roman Forum, tucked away between Via Cavour and Via Nazionale. Like London’s Hackney or Paris’s Belleville, it is an area which is increasingly attracting a young, creative and artistic population, with a plethora of interesting bookshops, cafes, organic food shops, restaurants and art galleries opening all the time. The apartments rental in Rome are within a 15 – 25 minute walk of the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiori, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Roman Forum.
Via Palermo 2 rental apartment is on the 5th floor with lift. Entrance to the luxury apartment rent in Rome is into a hallway with a ‘hidden’ kitchen, which can be closed off behind doors. There are two bedrooms, one with queen-size bed, and one with twin beds, which can be made up as a large double. There is a lovely sitting room with a grand piano and several comfortable chairs as well as a sofa bed. The separate dining room is also a library. There is air conditioning in every room, Sky TV, wi-fi internet, dishwasher, washing machine and separate dryer. Both apartments have been decorated and furnished for comfort and luxury and, at the same time, provide a sense of elegant living in a grand 17th century Roman Palazzo. There are magnificent hand-painted 15th century ceilings and original terracotta floors as well as important works of art hanging in each room. A third bedroom is available on request at an extra charge.
A private rooftop terrace can be accessed by taking the lift to the 5th floor, where there are stairs leading to the vast terrace, which extends over the entire rooftop of the building. It has three different sitting areas and two large dining areas with enormous palm trees and exotic plants dividing the areas. It is rare that more than two families are using the terrace simultaneously but, if so, it is such a large space, there is plenty of room. There are also views from here over some of Rome’s most significant sites such as the Colosseum and the Quirinale Palace. Although the apartments are situated in the historic centre of Rome, because of their position, they are very quiet, with the bedrooms well protected from the noisy nightlife of the city. All guests are welcomed with a basket of fine wines, prosecco, and other special Italian treats. The fridge is stocked with milk, butter, jams, coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil etc. and soap for the bathrooms is supplied. NB. At certain time over the summer, there is another one bedroom holiday apartment on the same floor, available on request (which opens to the terrace), for larger groups. This would create accommodation with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and direct access to the rooftop terrace. Please check with us for availability and rates.
